Buying Nature's Cure

Homeopathic Medicine

Yeast Infections

For whom are these products made?

Nature's Cure developed its new yeast infection products for women who want more choices when it comes to treating their yeast infection. Now, you can treat your yeast infection with the best that science and nature has to offer. Nature's Cure products help you to take control of your body's delicate balance, naturally.

Is there anything I should avoid while treating my yeast infection with the 1-Day or 3-Day treatment in the Yeast Infection Convenience Pack?

When using either of these products, avoid tampons, douches, spermicides or other vaginal products that may increase irritation or remove the medicine from the vagina. Likewise, you should not engage in vaginal intercourse until your treatment is completed. Also be aware that condoms and diaphragms may be damaged by the ingredients in the suppository and could fail to prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

How long will it take to feel relief when using the 3-Day Convenience Pack?

Many people will feel some immediate relief from the symptoms with an external application of the cream; others may take a little longer to feel results or may find that their symptoms are exacerbated before they improve. By using the suppositories daily, your symptoms should get better within 3 days. However, it's important to note that even if you feel symptom-free, you may still have the infection. No matter what treatment you use (1-day, 3-day, or 7-day), it can take up to 7 days for a yeast infection to be fully cured. If you do not see an improvement in your symptoms in 3 days or if your symptoms last more than 7 days, stop use and ask your doctor.

The Yeast Infection Tablets will immediately begin to work with your body to achieve your natural balance and will continue to fight the yeast infection throughout the treatment period. Nature's Cure Yeast Control Capsules can be taken to maintain a natural, healthy balance once the Yeast Infection Tablets are finished.

How long will it take to feel relief when using the 1-Day Convenience Pack?

The one-dose treatment of Tioconazole Ointment (6.5%) keeps working for days to cure your infection. Within 3 days, your symptoms should improve.

Nature's Cure Yeast Control Capsules can be taken to maintain a natural, healthy balance once the Yeast Infection Tablets are finished.

What is the difference between the Yeast Infection Tablets in the Nature's Cure Convenience Packs and the Yeast Control Capsules that are sold separately?

Although there is some overlap in the ingredients contained in the Yeast Infection Tablets and Yeast Control Capsules, the overall formulations are specialized to address a woman's different needs when fighting a yeast infection versus maintaining overall vaginal health. The Yeast Infection Tablets have been specifically designed to alleviate the symptoms of an active infection and bring the yeast balance back to normal to help achieve a cure. The Yeast Control Capsules contain all-natural homeopathic ingredients in a base of lactose and L. acidophilus to help maintain your body's optimal balance and keep yeast infections from affecting your life.

What are the active ingredients in the Yeast Infection Tablets/Yeast Control Capsules?

All active ingredients in the Nature's Cure tablets/capsules are natural, and no single ingredient stands out as a key active. If the ingredients were taken in macro-doses, they would mimic or bring on the condition of a yeast infection. Using the Law of Similars, the micro-doses present in the Nature's Cure tablets and capsules cause the body to resolve the symptoms. Simply, the ingredients work together to activate the body's own defenses to fight a yeast infection.

How do the tablets/capsules work?

Homeopathic medicines are not vaccines, but the concept is similar. The theory is that small amounts of ingredients activate the body's natural defenses to fight back. The ingredients are made from minerals, herbs, and other natural extracts. These medicines have been around for centuries and are widely prescribed in Europe.

Are the Nature's Cure tablets/capsules safe?

Homeopathic treatments have been used for centuries worldwide. There are no known negative side effects with homeopathy, unlike many conventional drugs. Conventional drugs rely on strength to over-power a disease. In the process, there can be side effects and toxicity problems. The theory behind homeopathics is that they work at the cellular level by stimulating the body's own natural healing ability.

Can I take the tablets/capsules with other medicines?

Nature's Cure tablets were developed using homeopathic medicine and all-natural ingredients. Using Nature's Cure tablets will not interfere with any of your prescription medications. There are no harmful side effects.

Are there any possible side effects from the suppositories or external cream?

A mild increase in vaginal burning, itching, irritation or abdominal cramping may occur. If you experience abdominal pain, headache, hives, skin rash, or if you have severe vaginal burning, itching, or irritation or swelling you should stop use and consult with your doctor.

What is Homeopathic Medicine?

Homeopathic Medicines use small amounts of distinct ingredients activate the body's natural defenses to fight an ailment. Homeopathic treatments are made from minerals, herbs, and other natural extracts and are known to be generally safe. In existence for centuries, homeopathic treatments are particularly popular in Europe. Nature's Cure is manufactured in strict compliance with FDA regulations, and all ingredients are listed in the U.S. Homeopathic Pharmacopeia.

Is Homeopathic Medicine the same as nutritional or herbal supplements?

No. The two product categories are not similar, so they fall into separate government regulatory classifications. In 1938, homeopathic treatment products included in the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the U.S. (HPUS) were identified as drugs in the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA). Herbal supplements are regulated as foods. Thus, differences include:

Labeling: Homeopathic Medicine is allowed to make claims to treat medical conditions. Nutritional and herbal supplements, conversely, cannot make claims for the treatment of a disease condition.
Manufacturing: Nutritional products contain milligram quantities, which are macro-ingredients. By contrast, homeopathic treatment products use micro-ingredients, which are extremely diluted. The number preceding an "X" indicates the serial dilution. For example, the first dilution is 1X, the thirtieth is 30X, and so on. A 30X dilution means that the ingredient was extracted, diluted, and filtered 30 times, leaving behind a residue that is then used in the product.

Ingredients: A Homeopathic Medicine contains only active ingredients that are listed in Homeopathic Pharmacopeia at levels deemed safe in those references. Dietary supplements contain ingredients such as vitamins and plants and it is the manufacturer's responsibility to determine the safety of the particular ingredient and the safe level for that ingredient.

Who regulates Homeopathic Medicines?

The Food and Drug Administration regulates homeopathic treatment products as drugs. Herbal supplements are regulated by FDA as foods.

What is a yeast infection?

Yeast occurs naturally in the body, but can get out of balance when certain organisms are not at their optimal levels, resulting in an infection. Although, irritating and uncomfortable, they do not often lead to critical health problems.

How do I know if I have a yeast infection?

Common symptoms associated with a vaginal yeast infection are:
  • Itching
  • Burning or pain associated with urination and/or sexual intercourse
  • Irritated skin around the genital area
  • Curd-like, odorless discharge

When should I talk to my Doctor?

If this is the first time you've had vaginal itching and discomfort, if your symptoms are not typical of a yeast infection or if you are pregnant and are having these symptoms, you should see a health care professional.

If you have lower abdominal, back or shoulder pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge you may have a more serious condition and should speak with your doctor.

If you do not see an improvement in your symptoms in 3 days or if your symptoms last more than 7 days, stop use and ask your doctor.

Speak with a doctor or pharmacist if you are taking a prescription blood thinning medicine, such as warfarin (coumadin), because bleeding or bruising may occur.

Contact your doctor if you get hives or a skin rash while using the suppositories or external cream.

If you get vaginal yeast infections often (such as once a month or 3 in 6 months), you should talk to a doctor. You could be pregnant or have a more serious underlying medical cause for your infections, including diabetes or a weakened immune system (which may be due to HIV – the virus that causes AIDS).

    What causes a yeast infection?

Yeast overgrowth can be triggered by hormonal shifts, including use of birth control pills, or from a weak immune system brought on by stress, poor nutrition or illness. It can also be aggravated by use of antibiotics, tight/poorly ventilated clothing or even tampons.

    Can yeast infections be prevented?

While it may not be possible to prevent all yeast infections, there are certain things you can do to help to prevent them from occurring as frequently.
  • Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet.
  • Maintain a normal balance of beneficial organisms, such as L.acidophilus, by eating yogurt or ingesting other products that contain L.acidophilus.
  • Avoid confining heat and moisture in the vaginal area by wearing cotton underwear instead of synthetics, not wearing tight fitting clothes, such as nylons and tight jeans, and changing out of a wet bathing suit or work-out clothes as soon as you are finished.
  • Prevent the spreading of germs by wiping front to back after using the restroom.
  • Talk with your doctor about any drugs you are taking. Certain drugs, such as antibiotics, steroids, or birth control pills may make it more likely for you to contract a yeast infection. Do not stop taking these drugs without first discussing it with your health care provider. A doctor may need to ensure that you do not have other medical conditions, such as diabetes or a weakened immune system.
  • Scented products, such as sprays, talcs, toilet paper and tampons can disrupt your natural balance or cause irritation when used in the vaginal area.
  • Unless instructed by your doctor, douches should be avoided as they may disrupt your natural balance by washing away helpful bacteria.

    How common are yeast infections?

Three out of four women will get a yeast infection at least once in their lives. About half of women will get two or more, and 5% of women have a chronic condition defined as four or more episodes per year.
